Cycle Canada was the first to publication in Canada to get a leg over the new BMW and we were impressed with its performance. Here's a sneak peak of our review for the latest F series model:

that's cool... a nice light moderate displacement chain driven Beemer ... but how does it handle staircases?
Is the little video a sign of things to come? Maybe we'll see more of this stuff once the marketing dept finds a way to put pop up advertising over it? :)

Ha! That was great!
Nice to have a video like that where the commentator isn't using his "announcer voice" (anyone ever watch MotorWeek? Jesus.). Also great fun to see the bike zipping past familiar landmarks like the Royal York and other buildings along the Gardiner.
This type of content could attract more people to this site, which would be great. However, as an experiment I googled "BMW F800R test", and this video didn't generate a hit. When I added "Canada" to the search it still didn't come up (although an older news article about the bike on the CC site did). I have no idea how any of that works, but it would be good for the site if this type of video could be more visible to google.
Nice job fellas. Really really enjoyed it.

Great video - more like that, please.
And look, Uwe, Neil managed to keep his clothes on throughout the whole thing.

Sorry Don, but you didn't see what ended up on the editing room floor.
You and Neil?
Stop teasing us.
Dear Derek,
I'm not sure if you were behind the camera for Neil's F800R shoot, but if you were I have an opportunity for you. It seems there is a burgeoning market (gauged solely on the basis of posts here) for compromising photographs. You could get rich. Know what I mean? I'm just sayin'.
Perhaps you should write into future contracts your ownership of all materials not published by your clients. You could even start a sister publication. This could be huge.
