I enjoyed the Cyclesport piece and the picture of Miller, especially. I'd love to buy the poster or the picture. You don't give any credit and this is the closest I can find on the net:

I haven't asked The Wife, but I'm thinking of painting this on the garage door. Houston, I have an airbrush...and, she wants a "new" door. Win-Win?
[PS] I don't like the new cover address system. I used to carefully remove the sticker. If I bought from a store I wouldn't have to look at my info and a spoiled picture. I realise that you are saving money, or The Environment, and it serves as a useful reminder for those without GPS, or with ID problems, but, how often, when I get lost, do I have CycleCanada with me? Not often. It had to be said.

For some reason the photo credits for that piece ended up on the following page (66) in the right margin. The photo of Spies, which I agree is quite spectacular, is by Brian J. Nelson. I can put you in contact with him if you would really like a copy (PM me with your email address).
Spies is a popular object for artwork these days. I managed to get this shot of him autographing a painting that was auctioned off the night before for a local charity.

Hey! He's a lefty. I wonder if any of his talent and wonderful control of his motorcycle can be attributed to his sinistral characteristics.
Guitarist Rik Emmett credited some of the speed, strength and accuracy of his playing to being left-handed, yet using a right handed guitar.

Hmmm. You wouldn't happen to be a south paw Don, would you?
I am.
I have a big fridge magnet in the office kitchen. It says "Everyone's born right-handed. Only the creative overcome it." Makes me grin.

The article suggests that Alzheimers may start earlier in lefties but it takes longer to finish you off. So, some good news, some bad news? One of the first symptoms may be expressing core beliefs with fridge magnets.
On the other hand, covering fridges with magnets has been shown on The Shopping Channel to reduce the incidence of arthritis in copper bracelets and red meat.
It turns out that there are faux-lefties. I'm assuming that one cannot fake anything about riding a bike like Spies, so he'd be your vrai-leftie, then?
Good luck with your long, slow...something...something....

Nope. Dad, father-in-law and strong indications in one my kids, though.

Hi, Uwe, I used the personal message link under your name, as you suggested, but I haven't heard from you about the links to Brian Nelson.

Hi, Uwe, I used the personal message link under your name, as you suggested, but I haven't heard from you about the links to Brian Nelson.
I sent an inquiry to him on the same day and thought I would have heard back by now. He more or less lives off the road, so sometimes it takes a little while for him to respond to emails. I'll send you a note the moment I hear somtehing.
