All 41 of the bastards as I earned it... Well, not so much 'earned' it as survived it. What the hell are you doing up now? I just got home from an abortive attempt at maintaining the Queen's peace. What's your excuse?

Not sure what is going to happen later as I have to attend a wedding rehearsal at ~1800 Hrs, followed by a wedding rehearsal dinner at 1900 Hrs. One assumes (fervently hopes?) that same shall be followed by wedding rehearsal scotch? All I know is that I just came home to a house where every bed - save one - has a person in it that I do not know & I picked up a Tip Top Tailor's tuxedo yesterday evening that I am expected to slink into Saturday afternoon (gotta see if there's any white grease or green Rust Check left in the garage) that just cost me exactly one dollar more than a bottle of Highland Park 25. So there better be an acceptable quantity of some sort of distillate, be it Speyside or Islay w/ my name on it. That I would probably settle for a six-pack of warmish Labatt Blue I shall keep to myself until such time as required...

All the same, thanks for noticing. Now, as my great-grandfather Sam was wont to declare just a little too early in the evening once he had drank the last of whatever was on the go, "Everybody w/ a bed should be in it."
