It seems that not all press is good press. After being covered in CC Newsfront, Rod Gillespie's Arrrgh t-shirts has been slapped with a cease & desist (sp?) order from the American Express corp.'s lawyers. Something about trademark violation.

I saw a Harley at Daytona with the likeness of an American Express card on the sides of the tank. I thought it was kind of funny. No word on whether AMEX tracked the bike's owner down and made him paint over it.

A few years ago BigJohnson.com offered a t-shirt with the slogan "You don't need a Harley if you've got a Big Johnson". It is now a collectors item. I'm assuming that Harley's lawyers got their ITCOB patches. I can't understand why...;)
