Consider this thread to be Cycle Canada's version of Neighbourhood Watch. Increasing the awareness of motorcycles that have been stolen from our community will help the chances of their recovery.

If you want to report a stolen motorcycle here, please post the Make/Model/Year/VIN information along with a photo if possible.

Motovan.com Racing Team Bikes Stolen! Reward for information!

On Sunday September 14th in L’Assomption 4 racing motocross bikes were stolen from a home.

The four bikes are:

Kawasaki KX250F 2007
Serial Number: jkakxmtc17a018958

KTM 250SXF 2008
Serial Number: vbkmxj4308m106524

KTM 250SXF 2008
Serial Number: vbkmxj4378m101143

KTM 450SXF 2008
Serial Number: vbkmxn4378m343700

If you have any information that will lead to finding the stolen bikes you can receive up to a $2,000 Reward.

Chances are those stolen won't be parted for parts since they are so new, but anyone buying used parts should ask to see the ownership of the motorcycle that is being parted, otherwise chances are good it was stolen.

And when buying any used motorcycle, don't let the seller try to convince you that an ownership isn't required. This is usually the case in the sale of off road (enduro or MX) motorcycles. Some sellers who don't have an ownership try to sell you the motorcycle with a bill of sale only. Sorry but that doesn't fly and if someone later comes along with the legal ownership, then you'll end up losing the bike that you've paid for.

Nelson da Costa is looking for help in the recovery of his stolen Honda. It was located in an underground garage at Don Valley and Eglinton in Toronto. The bike was a 2007 CBR600RR with aftermarket Repsol Bodywork, Akrapovic Carbon Fibre/Titanium slip-on, and Red wheel stripes. Please send any leads to ndacosta@primus.ca. Thank you.
