I've liked the FJR ever since it was introduced. Good looking bike and a nice backdrop.

You're a braver man than I Laker!
I don't know if it's just the tires on mine or what, but I've never been on a bike that squirms around as much as the FJR when it's off of hardtop.
Last weekend when I stopped in to visit a friend near Lacombe, I had to ride about 3kms of gravel - I got better as I went along, but not very comfortable.

I'm a bit biased Malks, but I agree.
I've loved the look of the FJR since I first saw it in Cycle Canada in 2002. When they showed up at Red Line Power Craft in Grande Prairie, I stopped by to have a look and the hook was set.
Lots of other priorities in life, but I was able to find one in my price range this summer with low kilometres.

ARRRR, Red-line Powercraft in Grand Prairie.:(
I got a rear tire installed by them last year while on a tour out west. $389.12for an instock tire installed and that was after I had bought a pair of gloves for $80.
Alberta hospitality and piece of mind for the ride home.
laker.
