KTM 1190 RC8 Superstock Bike

KTM will be racing this version of its 1190 RC8 in the 2008 World Superstock series. Austrian Rene Mahr has been confirmed as the rider for the team whose efforts are meant to be part of the final phase of testing for the new RC8 street model.

Wow. Beefy front tubes. In seeing a few KTMs lately, it's easy to see the source of the flames that've been lit under BMW's ass. I wonder if their (KTM) motors will stand up though? And Beemer gearboxes?
